About the RBC Symposium

Creative Health Care Management is pleased to announce the first National Relationship-Based Care Symposium to be held on July 28 – July 31, 2009. We invite you to connect with other courageous leaders from world-class organizations to celebrate the innovative ways in which Relationship-Based Care is transforming health care delivery.

We know you will not want to miss being part of this dynamic, unprecedented event. Together we will gain a deeper understanding of the power of leadership and commitment in creating caring and healing organizations in which patients and families are always at the center; healthy teamwork thrives; and humane, compassionate, safe care drives everything we do.

Goals For The Symposium

    • Gather the national community of courageous and compassionate leaders from bedside to boardroom that is committed to transforming health care through Relationship-Based Care.

    • Create an unprecedented sharing, learning and networking event to deepen our understanding of lessons learned in implementing and sustaining a Relationship-Based Care culture.

    • Facilitate exchange of ideas, skills and innovations that have the greatest impact on transforming cultures.

Who Should Attend

Leaders from acute and long term care facilities:

    Administration: CEOs, CNOs, COOs, CMOs, CFOs, HR, board members, etc.
    Relationship-Based Care Leaders: Executive sponsors and RBC implementation leaders.
    Results Council or steering teams: Leaders representing communications, education, quality improvement,    caring/healing, physician partnerships and service support.
    Department/unit managers and directors: Nurses, allied health professionals, service support leaders, physicians    and pastoral care.
    Staff: Unit/Department Practice Councils representing allied health professionals (RT, PT, Pharmacists,etc.) service    support (food service, housekeeping, transport, etc.), nurses, physicians and others engaged in RBC implementation.
